I would like to let everyone know about a preliminary meeting to get things rollin' & revive "The Orting Red Hat Days!" ... I am sooooo excited!
I believe, the 1st meeting already took place on Sept. 1st, but the 2nd meeting is scheduled for Wed. Sept. 8th at 6:00pm at the Orting Eagles... It will be short for there is another meeting scheduled at 6:30pm... so if you are interested, please come on down and join in.... Let's get this thing "rockin"... Sincerely, Denise Danley Webster

I couldn't be happier that the residents are trying to revive a wonderful celebration of my past. I would like to note thought that the above picture is a bit misleading. The "Red Hat Ladies" is an awesome organization but has little to do with the traditional red felt hat worn by hunters. (which is the purpose of the celebration to begin with) I hope that it can be revive the celebration with the dart tournament, beard growing contest, pancake breakfast and all. Good luck
