I tried Route 66 shortley after it first opened, some of the worst pizza I ever ate, and have never gone back, and never will. PapaMurphy's has the best pizza made. Sure you have to go get it and cook it yourself, but its worth it. Give it a try, you won't be dissappointed. Great service too.

Route 66 does have good pizza. I will never have it delivered because by the time it gets to me it is generally cold. But I will probably never have pizza hut delivered either. Well, I might try it when She is on a business trip. And I have had 1 or 2 experiences at Route 66 that resulted in little or no tip, that just in the few years I have been in town.

I have been a patron of Route 66 and enjoy their pizza. However, I went to Pizza Hut yesterday after all the negative comments listed below. I had a stuffed crust pepperoni pizza that was excellent. To attack Pizza Hut for being a large corporation, detracts from the fact that franchises are owned by local families that are trying to make a living. The new businss also pays taxes to our city-community. I welcome Pizza Hut to Orting and will support them as well as Route 66.

Route 66 pizza is a great pizza place to eat ive never been treated rude but if u were remember u hire people and u would hope they would represent your business well but sometime that does not happen just wait it will also happen at pizza hut. There have been many times ive been treated rude at big coporations but its so funny they seem to get away with it At least if you bring up a issue at the route the owners will take care of it try to talk to owner of pizza hut ha ha they could care less

chrisk your comments on this article are darn right not accurate. If you dont like a place thats fine everyone has an opinion but dont go around making up lies. I have been going to route 66 pizza for 15 years and i cant remember any time the didnt have specials. They are a much better pizza than pizza hut and have better prices too. Maybe u should go in there and order and you will find out how wrong your statement is. They have a 7.99 large special right now actually too.

11 years ago i called route 66 and asked the simple question, "what specials do you have today?" I was laughed at by the person on the phone and told "we don't do specials". I remember thinking that someday they'd regret raping the people of orting. then they campaigned negatively against the first take n bake company that came to town. now they're finally going to get what's coming to them. Go Pizza Hut!! Route 66.. you cannot treat your customers the way you have. people don't forget

Change is Good. I'm Happy to see something open up in there. We currently have way to many empty business buildings. There are plenty of people that travel out of Orting to eat, maybe now they will stay in town & have pizza hut. If Route 66 takes a hit then it's a sign something is wrong. If customers are satisfied then they return, sounds like the Pizza Hut customers are NOT currently route 66 customers anyhow . It's not a competition, just another choice for our fast food menu . Was it a big
