Fees for Orting Sporting Events

Our family wanted to support my son and the OHS soccer team at their first game. It cost us $6 in entrance fees for the adults, less for the children, to watch a game that has always been free.

I understand the need to raise money for uniforms etc. but the cost is just too much. Supporting our local teams is a safe and fun form of entertainment for the youth of Orting but the cost of the events will make it impossible for families during these hard times. Next year as my two younger children enter elementary school, it will cost $20 per game for myself, my husband and two kids. The school should have a $50 Family Pass for the entire school year. They would have a lot more fans supporting the teams while providing safe, fun entertainment for the youth of Orting.
