I've lived in the Buttes for three years now and have seen at least five cars, trucks and big rigs like the one above swallowed up by the Lions Park "Ditch". The question is how many more accidents like the one mentioned in this article will it take before someone gets seriously hurt or a child participating/watching soccer/baseball in the park gets hurt? I'd say the "Ditch" is winning. When is the city/county going to fix/widen that part of road or fill in the ditch?

They too do not follow the rules of the road. They are on cell phones and ride side-by-side and do not stay at the shoulder but also like the middle of the lane. They are oblivious to the approaching traffic from behind; you can literally sneak up on them without trying. I am sure if an accident occurred there would be blame.
Read up on the Washington Rock and the expansions they want. Expansions mean more truck traffic. Already leaving my driveway can be difficult.

We are starting our 8th year living on Orville Road at the entrance to Camp One Rd. Between 4 am and 4 pm this road is a race track.
I do not pass over the narrow bridges when the trucks do; it is safer to wait my turn even though at times I have stopped traffic. They not only travel too fast but they take up more than just one lane; not just on the narrow bridges and curves but from 162 to Kapowison.
