Former Orting Cardinals baseball player Jacob Pettit was selected in the 42nd round (1258 overall) of the MLB Draft by the Orioles on Wednesday. The Western Oregon left-hander had a 1.80 ERA this past season and was named the 2010 Great Northwest Athletic Conference
