Dog Murder!

This is a picture of my dog Chanell...She was the friendliest dog in the neighborhood. She was so friendly, she would bring home racoons to play with. here she comes again, up the driveway with her new friend! She would make friends with anyone. I never thought that friendlyness would work against her in the bitter end..

friday morning around 5:00am. I let her and my other 2 dogs out for the morning wake up call, just like I do every morning. Then around 5:10 the dogs went crazy about something, so I called them back up to the house. 10 minutes later... they started barking again, so I called them in for breakfast...only 2 of them came back. Chanell did not come. Not unusual though, because sometimes she would go to my neighbors behind us, and go through the doggy door to wake them up.. Told you, she is very friendly...

9:30am came around..my son called me at work. "mom, Chanell hasn't come home yet" ohhh, this does not feel right.
later that evening when we came home from work, we went out to look for her. our neighbors chose to use there quads, because in the past, Chanell ran to our neighbors jumping for joy, chasing them. she loved them so much...
but no Chanell.

They decided to go into the woods on a groomed trail across from my house. Gulp, there she was, in the middle of the trail. The most horrifying, and disturbing thing you could imagine...

Only the upper halve of Chanell was there... clean cut, no mistaking it. Someone chopped my Chanell in halve. We have not been able to find the other halve yet.. The other disturbing part of this is, there was no blood. This means, they did this somewhere else, then dropped her off there.

I want people to know, that we have a very disturbed person out there that likes to murder animals. This has been the worst experience Me and my family has gone through... We have the best neighbors in the world. They have helped us through this, and helped us find our pet..

I miss you Chanell

you have touched many lives on Card road and have made many people, and dogs, and racoons, and cats, bunnies very happy... I will not forget your happy smile.
