![]() Government Has Become The Pigs of Orwell's TellingBy: Dan Harrison
July 20, 2010
I received an email from a friend several days ago, and I know of several who have received it as well, so I'm not the original author. However, I cared enough to research it online and was horrified to find out it was accurate and even somewhat 'light' as more and more programs are generated to keep power in power and give government the authority to 'spend' on our behalf.
Even locally.... Yes, the downtown is pretty and makes us smile. But honestly people, when you look at the local funds used to make it look that way you'll cringe. The Mayor says we had to spend it or lose it...so fat feeds fat and local tries to spin it on a blame to regional, national and not take the blame. This Fall, when you vote again, please remember the following and vote on something other than a promise.... The following unconstitutional FEDERAL programs, agencies, departments, bureaus, commissions, administrations, offices, foundations, councils, services, institutions, boards, centers, divisions, grants, initiatives, registries, affairs, authorities etc, SHOULD ALL BE ABOLISHED. THESE ORGANIZATIONS PRODUCE NOTHING-THEY JUST LEECH AND TRANSFER WEALTH FROM ONE CLASS TO ANOTHER BY FORCE OF TAXATION. ANY WONDER WHY WE'RE BROKE???... With these organizations gone, we could eliminate the federal income tax (for real economic stimulus). Then all these federal government fat cats would have to get real jobs like the rest of us - probably without the 10 holidays a year. THIS LIST DOES NOT INCLUDE ANY MILITARY or DEFENSE PROGRAMS OR THEIR SUBSIDIARIES. IT ALSO DOES NOT INCLUDE LEGITIMATE GOVERNMENT BRANCHES SUCH AS EXECUTIVE, LEGISLATIVE, JUDICIAL, AND MANY OTHERS. HERE IT IS... Personal Income Tax Division of the IRS National Endowment for the Arts (Can't sell your art privately?) National Wild Horse and Burro Program (Huh?) An editorial worth printing. And right at the core of the truth.
I look forward to your next governmental corruption expose.
