Metlife Agent Christine Tillet gets it done for CISO

Community in Schools of Orting would like to publicly thank Christine Tillet for the many hours she has volunteered for our program, and for the generous grant she helped CISO earn. Christine is a Metlife agent here in Orting and was able to help CISO obtain $1,000 grant given out by Metlife.

Christine has been volunteering for CISO for many years and when she heard that there was an opportunity to apply for a volunteerism grant through MetLife she contacted us and we worked together at making a video about volunteerism in Orting (through CISO in particular).  Although we were not selected as one of the finalists, MetLife was excited that 60 different insurance agents across the United States worked with their local non profit organizations to make these videos, that they awarded everyone who entered a grant!  CISO was awarded a $1,000 grant on 8/16/2010. 

This MetLife grant will help support our mentoring, after school enrichment programs, outreach and our job training cafe.
