Volksmarch in Orting

On Saturday, Oct. 16, Daffodil Valley Volkssport Assn. will be hosting a 5K/10K volksmarch in Orting during the Red Hat Days. The 2 walks will start at Orting Station. You can start anytime between 8 am and 1 pm but you must be finished walking by 4 pm. The route will be in two loops going along both the Carbon and Puyallup Rivers. Although a flat walk, it is rated as a difficulty "2" due to the gravel walkways. If you would like to walk with a group, there is a Friendship walk that starts at 10 am for the 10K.
