Orting HS Cross Country Girls & Boys Nisqually League Champs

On Thursday, October 20, 2011, the Orting HS Girls and Boys Cross Country Teams competed in the Nisqually League Championships at Fort Steilacoom Park in Lakewood, WA. Congratulations to both teams as BOTH took home the league championship trophies that will be coming to the school awards cases in the hallway by the gym very soon!

Any members of the teams that were in the top seven made the All League 1st Team. For girls they included: League Champ for the 4th year in a row, Kayleigh McCoy, 2nd place-Elisha Parslow, 5th place-Laura Kostad, and 6th place-Alexi Whatley. WAY TO GO GIRLS!

The boys included: 3rd place-Jasper Heckman, 4th place-Tyler Blankenship, and 7th place-Patrick Carney. WAY TO GO BOYS!

On Saturday, October 29, the teams will be at the Westside Classic District Meet at American Lake Park. Come out and support the teams as they get prepped to go to STATE. Best wishes to the teams. We are very proud of you.
