Cheers go out to all the fishermen (and women) who know how to pack it in and pack it out!
Jeers to those who leave behind trash, tackle, snarled lines and hooks. Cheers also to those who come in behind the messy ones and pick up...

Cheers to those who pick up trash on the trail surrounding Orting!
Jeers to those (mostly young people) who dump their garbage as they walk home. (yes, you are a rebel- but you are also unappreciated- knock it off!) Maybe the Orting Police could start handing out littering citations ....

Cheers to the Orting Valley Fire Dept. for annually providing an opportunity to see Santa on a Fire Engine- with music! Thank you!
Jeers to those who scare their kids out of an appreciation for such things.

Cheers for the lovely day (Sunny Friday, 16th of Dec)- the mountain was clear and shining with a modest covering over her midsection... a great day to be in the Orting area.
Jeers to those who don't appreciate what they have til it's gone. (Pave paradise, put in a parking lot).
