Barbara Ford is the 'guest chef' all day long as Around The Corner Cafe donates 10% of all the days proceeds to the Orting Valley Senior Center where Ford it the Executive Director. "We're serving 'healthy' comfort food." beamed Ford as she readied the kitchen early this morning. "Beef Brisket, mashed potatoes with cauliflower, baby carrots with a lemon zest...even low fat chocolate pudding!" By eating at Around The Corner Cafe today, you are supporting the following: SENIOR MEALSITE: Serving 160 hot meals per week LIMITED ON-SITE FOOD BANK: Serving 40 seniors per month SENIOR EXERCISE CLASS: Serves 35 seniors each week RESOURCE & REFERRAL SERVICES: For Medicare, housing and utility assistance.

What a great thing! Our family sure would have been her tonight, but it is my birthday and they had a party planned! I am sure it was wonderful! Barbara you do so much for the Community and the Senior Center, WELL DONE!
