One Saturday morning recently, we went to have breakfast at the golf course. that was a morning to remember.First of all, the chef prepared my wife's breakfast wrong [ he said he miss read the ticket], then while waiting for our meal, we overheard some of the golfers mention that this was a mens restaurant and what was a women doing here. My understanding was that this was a public restaurant. So after waiting for our breakfast [ that was not as well done as one might expect at a golf course] and hearing those slanderous remarks, i know we wont be going back there any time soon and I would recommend anyone else not patronize this dump! go into town for better service and better food.

I have been eating at High Cedars golf course for many years. I have always had a wonderful breakfast there. The Friday night dinners are wonderful and so fairly priced. My experiences at High Cedars as a golfer and as a patron at the restaurant have been very positive. I would hope that a slanderous remark made by someone other than the staff would not have a negative impact on the quality of service at the Golf Course. We are very lucky to have this facility in our community.

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience at High Cedars clubhouse. My husband and I have been eating there for years and find the food and the atmosphere for the most part to be good. Everybody has a bad day sometime - maybe you just picked the chef's bad day. Try it again - you may change your mind. By the way, I'm surprised at the comments from the male golfers. I am a golfer (female) and have never had anyone say anything to me or my female friends that would be of a derogatory nature.
