Obituary - Kathleen Lucille (Aaron) Anderson

Lucille was born in Blue Ridge. GA on May 23, 1920 and died on August 23, 2011 after a long, wonderful life. At a young age, her family migrated to the Pacific Northwest where she lived the remainder of her life. In May 1943, she married Paul Anderson. Together they raised 5 daughters, Judi Travis, Gainesville, VA; Sheri (Jack) Bellow, Fort Ann, NY; Janet (Terry) Lee, Tacoma; Linda (Don) McGuire, Port Orchard; and Ronda (Greg) Dill, Burien. She is survived by her daughters and their husbands, 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Mom loved the out-of-doors. She and Dad spent many hours fishing, hunting, and camping throughout Washington. She loved to watch the Mariners, Huskies, and Seahawks. And she was active in Eastern Star, being a 50-year member of both Naomi (Puyallup) and Guiding Star (Sumner) Chapters.
Many thanks to the staff of the Soldier’s Home for the loving care and compassion given to our mother during her stay at their Nursing Facility.
