Four-Peat for The Orting Cardinals!

Mike Sowards and the Orting Cardinals have done it again!  And, again! And, again and again!  Four state Championships in as many years.  Congratulations Coach and Team.

To say the Cardinals had a fantastic showing at the Mat Classic is an understatement.

Orting's Drew Templeman became only the ninth Washington high school wrestler to win four state championships, defeating Chelan’s Erick Garcia, 10-2, in the 120 final.

Three additional Cardinal grapplers climbing to the top of the podium earning Washington state 1A Titles too!
Fred Green (106), Shannon Maris (138), and the powerhouse Dalton Evanger (152) each advanced from their semi-final matches to claim their individual crowns.
