SUMMER ENRICHMENT CAMPS

Orting has much to offer this Summer in the way of Enrichment Camps! Thanks to Communities in Schools of Orting, the following Day camps are available:

VALLEY FOOTBALL CAMP -
When: July 7th-11th (M-F) 9AM to 12PM
Where: Orting High School Football Field
Cost:$50.00 (Per student, $55.00 after deadline)

Your very own Orting Cardinal Football team will be holding a day camp as a fundraiser. Boys and Girls, grades 3-8(this fall), will receive specific coaching for offense, defense, fundamental skills and also learn a variety of positions throughout the week! Daily there will be Punt, Pass & Kick competitions, and touch football games. Every student will receive a t-shirt, and have a great time!Registrations are due by Tuesday, July 1st ($5.00 fee for late registration). Registrations will be taken day of camp!

VOLLEYBALL SKILLS CAMP -
When: July 15th-17th 6PM to 8:30PM
Where:Ptarmigan Ridge Intermediate School Gym
Cost: $50.00 per student (Shirt & Ball included)

New Varsity Volleyball Coach, Sabrina Richmond, staff, and the High School Varsity players will be running this exciting day camp for Girls, grades 5-9(this fall). Some of the wonderful skills the girls will learn include:passing, setting and hitting! This is a great introductory to the sport or for your student to improve their skills and wonderful warm up for the fall season!

MINI-HAWK SPORTS CAMP -
Where:Ptarmigan Intermediate Gym and Playfield
When:M-F July 14th-18th 9AM to 12PM
Cost:$89.00 per student

With no pressure, and lots of fun, this is a great way for YOUNG CHILDREN to explore sports! The staff is trained to work with young children. Through fun games and activities, young atheletes can learn about SOCCER, BASEBALL, and BASKETBALL! STUDENTS WILL NEED TO BRING A SNACK AND A BOTTLE OF WATER, and be prepared for a great time!

Fine Art Photography for the Young Artist

Where:Ptarmigan Ridge Library
When:Thursday, July 10th. 9AM to 3PM
What to bring?: DIGITAL CAMERA(manual settings recommended), fresh batteries, and a sack lunch!
Cost:$59.00 (includes a supply fee)

Bring out the best in tomorrows artists!! Young students can learn the basic of photography, including, composition, exposure, manual settings, lighting, and much more! Children willl be given an edge over other photographers in this one day camp. The course is divided into three 1 1/2 hour projects.

OFF BROADWAY DRAMA CAMP -
"LEMONADE"!
Where:Ptarmigan Ridge Music Room & Gym
When:M-F August 11th-15th 1:00-4:00PM
Cost:$65.00
Please bring a Blank CD or Cassette tape to the first class

A fairytale frenzy! Children ages 6-11 can join Chicken Little, Three Little Pigs, Humpty Dumpty, Little Boy Blue and tons of other characters having a REAL BAD DAY! Patient Mother Goose helps them to make Lemonade out of all those Lemons! Instructor Judy Kurtz has over 17 years of theater experience.
