CONGRATULATIONS ORTING ON THE NEW MIDDLE SCHOOL

The most positive and inspiring thing to happen to Orting in a while turns out to be the new Middle School!
After months of looking at and listening to the construction, the new school open its doors to the community last night.
Superintendant Jeff Davis not only told a beyond packed “commons room”, the trials that went into building this beautiful new facility, but went on to talk about the plans for the near future, a stadium and community parks behind the school.
The school is incredible, big, open, high ceilings, a huge gym, art room, choir room, science prep rooms, and so much more. (This is just what stuck out in my mind.)
Watching the kids, those that will attend this year and in the future, you could see the excitement. New lockers and that special smell of “new”.
It was a relief to see something so positive and uplifting in Orting.
Congratulations to the Orting School District for a wonderful job and for bringing the community together with a hope for the future of our children!
