RED RIBBON WEEK AT OSD

Orting MS and HS and Ptarmigan Ridge will be holding Red Ribbon Week activities during the week of October 27th through the 31st. As part of the Red Ribbon Week activities kids will be participating in a Drug Free Rally in front of OHS on October 30th at 7:00 am.
This is a great opportunity for parents to talk to their children about drugs and alcohol. It has been shown that children who have open and honest conversations with their parents about drugs and alcohol use have a much better chance of remaining drug and alcohol free during their school years. Kids who are not using do much better in school and on state tests.
