PIERCE COUNTY LIBRARY SYSTEM OFFERS FREE PROGRAM TO HELP CHILDREN READ

Parents and caregivers will learn how to help children get ready to read during a fun, free program at Pierce County Library Processing and Administrative Center, 3005 112th St. E. on Saturday, Oct. 25, 10 a.m. – noon.

Dr. Pam Schiller, early childhood consultant and author, presents “A Joyful Journey to Literacy.” The program will provide useful strategies and activities to help foster children's early literacy skills and prepare them for a lifetime of reading.

Participants may earn State Training and Registry System (STARS) credits.
