People may meet and talk with a local author during a free event at Graham Pierce County Library, 9202 224th St. E. on Sunday, Oct. 19, 2 p.m. and Tuesday, Nov. 25, 7 p.m.

Pierce County resident Lawrence D. “Andy” Anderson will present his book “In the Shadow of the Mountain: Early days of Graham, Kapowsin, Benston, Electron and Vicinity.”
