ORTING CAN HELP HAITI

Due to the overwhelming devastation over the last few days in Haiti, we are inviting the Orting community to come together to help support the earthquake relief efforts in Haiti directly.

Dan Bunker, Orting business owner, has had the opportunity each year to see Andre Louis, Pastor of Independent Christian Alliance Ministries in Haiti. Dan and his family support Pastor Andre's Haitian ministry working with children, orphans & widows.

An American team from Kansas arrived just five hours before the earthquake. The housing they were in has been heavily damaged and they have been sleeping outdoors. At this point, they have switched their focus solely to relief efforts.

We will be sending collected checks to Pastor Andre and 100% of the funds will help those in need directly.

Checks should be made payable to Independent Christian Alliance and dropped off at Dan's store, Business Solutions Center at 204 Corrin Ave NW, Orting, WA 98360. If you have any questions, please call Jennifer, Dan’s assistant at 253-653-2203.

Although the Haitian banking system is down, we will be continually sending checks so that funds are available as soon as the banking system is restored.

Business Solutions Center is open Monday - Friday 8:30am - 6pm and on Saturdays from 10am to 3pm.
