Comment #11: Although it hasn't directly touched me, it does affect me indirectly as it does eveyone. It's clear Orting was over - built prior to this problem and now it just leaves more vacant houses and others unable to sale their currently occupied home.
Comment #10: The American way! Want more than you can afford. Suck it up and take your punches. If you recover be thankful, and be more cautious the next time you sign your name on the dotted line.
Comment #9: The sky is not falling, the earth will not stop spinning. Love your family, care for friends and get back to work...the rest will still be there tomorrow. It's not the end of the world, life is short, enjoy it and be thankful you have one.
Comment #8: The town is slowly clearing out judging by the increase in the number of for sale signs in my neighborhood.
Comment #7: And I don't enjoy having to pay for other people's poor decisions.
Comment #6: the market will make the corrections it needs to...financial market always has series of ups/downs. just so happens this is a major down. right now stocks are on sale and my portfolio is reaping the benefit!
Comment #5: Owe more on rental than I can sell it for.
Comment #4: I stayed with WAMU. They cover up to 150,000,000 or somewhere around there. I have no where near that in the bank so I guess I'm safe.
Comment #3: I do home loans for a living.
Comment #2: I switched from WAMU to Frontier Bank. Should have never left Frontier and I'll never leave again!
